Nice bunch of tractors. Now I see what you haul the YELLOW BELLIED SAP SUCKER on. I am going next week to look at what is supposed to be a blue 4000 4 cylinder diesel with a tricycle front and SOS transmission. I don't recall ever having seen such an animal called 4000.
The man also has a 5 speed transmission without live PTO. Do any of you know if the 3rd gear is the same as the transmission with live PTO????? I am going to try to jew him down on the price of the 5 speed if it is the same and use some of the parts in mine. He wants 600 and I am going to offer him 400. The 3rd gear alone costs 400 so if I can get it for that I will be makeing loads of money.

Nice photo, thanks for sharing. Maybe someday I can boast so many fine looking Ford tractors under one roof. Looks like an 871 Gold tractor in there 2nd from right. Have you had much trouble with the SOS tranny? Just wondering.

It's an 881. Came from original owners widow. They spent $2000 on the trany in 94 and didn't get it fixed right. It moves but the widow says it is not smooth like it used to be. I wanted an SOS to work on, never dreamed I'd find gold.

Nice fleet there you have!Is the sign an original? And what is the flat thing on the front of the 3000? Is that a special bumper on the red and grey one?

Yes the sign is original. Picked it up off Ebay. Don't think it was ever used but sat in wet and the bottom is quite rusty. The 2000 3 cyl has ford 771 loader, bucket is way up in pic. The flat on the front is a 3/8" thick piece of polyethylene screwed on to keep the limbs and brush from poking into the grille again. The Jubilee (Red and Grey one) has a Sherman back hoe which makes the front very light. It had a big hunk of concrete but I thought the concrete filled 8" pipe looked better and works well as a bumper.
