I have a 9N and have been using a brushog with chains to hold it in position. The chains are holding the unit completely. Is this normal for the 9N? Seems to be extreme punishment on the chains. Should the hydralic system releave the pressure on the chains and brushog?
Will the ZANETHANG resolve this situation?
Thanks

Russin, which do you think it would be easier to repair. Thats the one you want to use the most.

The limiter chains are doing exactly what they are supposed to do, and that is to keep an implement from dropping lower than you want while allowing the implement to be rasied if needed, AND, to keep unnecessary pressure off the hydraulics.
Beat the heck out of the chains! A new set is still cheaper than rebuilding your lift system...IMHO

Russ, I have a 2N and have been using the Zane Thang for several months now. With decent hydraulics the lift is completely adjustable to any height and will stay where you put it with the Zane Thang. It is truly the best $80 I have spent on my 2N. Mowin', hoggin', bladin' and scoopin' are all a pleasure!
