Thought some of you folks might find this good reading. Covers a lot of the basics, but does so with a minimum of fluffy words and confusion. It's one of the very few articles I've seen that clearly explained why retarding a camshaft moves the power band up the rpm scale, exactly opposite of what you do with an ignition.

As a sidebar note, this company (who I know nothing about) can do custom grinds on the N series tractor engines. Hehe, wana full race cam for your 8N?

Maybe after I get brakes on my 8N. I can drag my feet doing 15 mph but not too sure about 25mph.
