I need a little help in choosing replacement tires for my 16'flatbed. The trailer was brought new with 8N270952* and use it to haul her around, but the tires are used. Now I need to start looking around for some new tires. Can anybody recommend a good brand and ply rating. Thanks in advance.

There are special tires made for trailer use. They have a heavy sidewall and easy rolling tread, and are rated for a much heavier load than a similar sized car or light truck tire..
I got mine from a Big O tire store out in Indiana. Most good tire places can recommend a tire for you. Expect real trailer tires in 15 inch to run upwards of $70 each.
You may also learn about tires by going to your local travel trailer place. However expect to pay a premium there.

You don't say what size and weight trailer, what size tires, what kind of wheels(mobile home, regular automotive, etc), how many axles, what else you haul beside the 8N. Other than that...
Go to the tire store. Ask the dealer what he has and the price. The higher the ply rating, the higher the cost. If the current tires are wearing with a certain pattern, it might be a good idea to check axle alignment, too.

I'd probably avoid Firestone white-letters right now.
