My tractor had a miss in it, I changed wires plugs and retourqed the head ( some of the bolts probably only had 30# on them} I then started messing with the carb the miss went away with the big fuel mixture screw completely out! When I replaced it the miss came back, so I backed it off all the way it is only in there by a couple of threads. The tractor runs like a top and even starts on the 2nd or 3rd crank without choking(something that it hasn't done since I've owned it) I used it for about three hours to disc and it pulled my 5ft disc in 3rd gear without missing a beat. What is the deal here should I keep running it like this or does the carb need a rebuild?
