Hey y'all I certainly do not have the expertiese, status, stature, and history with this Board and especially 9N's and Ford N-Series. But, when I saw Tyler Neff's website, my jaw dropped and I truly felt that he set the standard for 9N restorations. I would be humbled to the point of un-worthiness if I could ever meet Tyler Neff, and actually have my 9N sit side-by-side with his. If I was to swallow my pride and actually venture to Maryland, or even if Tyler ventured to New Hampshire with his famous 9N I would definitely get a picture of that and post it on this board.

If I was to do that, would I deserve more than a Keystone Beer? After-all, that would require a major commitment to get the tractors side-by-side. And, I thought we agreed to Chivas Regal, not Keystone Beer, (and not 5th's of Chivas because they don't make 5th's) but I'll even take a 12 Pack of Coors Light too. Any takers out there? I'll post a photo of my tractor photographed with Tyler's if I can get a commitment for Chivas or Coors Light. I'll do it...if Tyler will accept a guest frpm the North Country. -9N'er

Any takers' out there ?? ....Chuck(Ca)?? -9N'er

Flattery will get you everywhere. :-)

I appreciate the compliments. Most know the story behind my refurbishment of my 9N. It's not painted correctly, and has other non-original parts on her. But, I did it for my grandmother and the page is dedicted to all those who helped me with the project. It's just a little something to give back after I took so much advice from others.

Anyway, on with the countdown.

A meeting would be good. Maybe since you're in New Hampshire, we could all get together at dave#1's place next year. After the good time we had this year, I believe we are going to make it an annual ritual.

Heck, maybe I'll bring my N to the party. We'll drink anything you can haul. :-)

I like lots of flavors of stuff. :-)

You did a fine job on your tractor as well. You should be proud of yourself.

Cheers and to a future meeting!!

Tyman the 9N man.

Well, I guess I did open my mouth earlier. I will be glad to figure out a way to get a 12 pack of your choice or maybe even a not-so-large bottle of Chivas Regal up to you if you can tie it all together somehow. Howsomever, Tyler doesn't seem to be jumping on this band wagon. I think it would be a better plan if he agreed to it as well. Tyler?

Chuck (CA) btw, my last name is also Tyler.

Being a Chivas drinker for about 30 years, I detect something is not right here. Chivas and Coors just do not go together.. You have a top shelf scotch and a mediocre beer. Now, at the very least drink Heineken, Becks, St. Paulie Girl... and while you are at it, pour me one too..
Happy Motoring

Not sure I'll be able to find Chivas in Alabama though.

Having met Mr. Neff, it is safe to say his tractor is in better shape and looks better than he does!
(grin)

Had to say that Tyman!

Heineken,Becks,St.Paulie Girl????? I thought thats what Kubota folks drank. My 2n and I drink Sam Adams when I'm with the important folk.Throw in a case and I,m there.I'm sure Mr.Neff has plenty of room in his back yard for a dozen tents or so.I'm sure he wouldn't want our N's outside unprotected.
