I just yesterday heard about a 7N that a guy has and will be selling after the x-mas tree harvest is over. Does anyone know how rare these are or what they are worth? The guy I talked to said it is in "real good shape", so I can only go by that for the condition. Thanks

7N----The Ford book that has a picture of a blue 2000 on the cover with sheep in back ground, has an article about the first N's after the 2N's built in late 1947 and a few of them was called 7N's I don't own that particular book, but I've see it and it was pointed out to me at The FORD national meet last year in MN on the 7N issue.

How do you tell the differance between 7N and 8N?

Bill, I have that book, "Ford Farm Tractors" by Randy Leffingwell. Chapter 12 has a few details about the 7N and 7NX, the prototype, but I haven't been able to find any other info. The guy also has an original manual printed for a 7N. Maybe we will hear more from someone else. Thanks, Pete

You could park it next to the Olds Rocket 89 and the Boeing 746! There's no such thing as a 7N, so far as I know. It went 9N, 2N, 8N, '53 Jubilee, NAA, then into the three-digit Ford tractor models.
