Gents,
This 2N has two "pea size" holes in the upper steering housing on the flat spot above where the solenoid attaches. Suspect they were caused by leaking battery acid. Just wondered if this is a common happening and if so, what method was used to repair? Thanks!

Alan,

How's bout a little JB Weld. That'll plug the holes. It's good stuff.

Thanks Tyman, I think that should work. Mostly I was curious how common the problem is with the battery mounted above? Based on the lack of responses I guess not too. :-)

Hey Tyler, is it true JB weld has a special type for aluminum? My son needs to fix a timing chain cover from a toyota truck and someone told him to get the JB for aluminum.
