Need to remove both rear axle hubs. Have done this before, but, it's been a few years. The hubs are set tight and could not be removed with a medium-sized gear puller. Will get a larger gear puller tomorrow. Meanwhile, is there any secret to hub removal that might make it a little easier. Thanks in advance.

If you are talking about the brake drums, you probably need to adjust the brake adjustment down to 'shrink' the brake pad od. In automotive aplications, the pads will make grooves in the drums. The pads wear into the grooves and lock the drums on.

Check the archives for this. I seem to remember
a suggestion to loosen the nuts and drive the tractor around, in sharp turns, to help loosen
the hubs.
