I've make new spring catches for the top of my grille thanks to the pics supplied by Larry. Now I need to know what to make for the lower pivots. My tractor has nothing there except a couple of caged nuts in the dog legs. What did the original dog legs have? I don't have too much of a clue.

There should be a stud on each dog leg that fit into the holes in the lower end of the grill on each side.

I've been looking at it this afternoon. The lower part of my grille has about a 3/8 in hole to pivot on a stud? How is the stud attached. I've just got thru looking at the dog legs. I can see where I think the "stud" goes, but can determine what keeps the "stud" in place?
