Arne..... ....what Pitch sez..... ..and you might want to search the "archives" at the top of this great N-Board. Yeah, cylinder extended, means hydraulic 3-point up. Remember, its hydropower up and gravity down and PTO must be turning to run the pump. Ford/New Holland now recommends 5 gals of spec M2C-134D hydro/tranny oil. 'course ya can use what was recommended 60 yrs ago if'n ya can find 90wt mineral oil (not differential gear oil). 1 fill up by tranny shifter, 3 drains, drain small differential plug first 'cuz it'll pee innna bucket pretty good, then drain the big 2" hydraulic plug, then the big tranny plug. (you might be prepaired to replace with new tranny plug gaskets 50c cheep) Never hurts to replace any and all fluids on a new to you vehicle. Recommend you get an I&T FO-4 manual. Readily available at most sponsors of this great N-Board, most tractor parts emporiums, Borders Books, Amazon.com, www.n-news.com (great archives of implement manuals), even Ford/New Holland fer peets stakes, $29 cheep, gettcha 1 and readitt..... ....Dell
