Hydraulic Linkage Adjustmnet for Jubilee

I need to adjust the Control Linkages for both Position Control And Draft Control but I am confused...I have read the It FO-19 and also the Service Shop Manual for the adjustment and they appear to give different dimensions for the adjustment....In the FO-19 Manual it says to raise the Arms 1/2 inch above the plane of the Cover and the make your Draft Control adjustment to the linkage so the gap is .342...and make your adjustment for Position Control so the gap is .432....In the service Shop Manual it says to set your arms at 1/2 inch and then make the same adjusments as above but for gaps of .185 and .237 .....I don't think there are any differences in the way they tell you to set up the cover so why are these gaps so different ....Has anyone done these adjustments and which set of gaps are the correct one...Maybe I am missing some additional information?????...As usual any opinions / help will be greatly appreciated..Thanks...Alan

I think what you have is that the first numbers you list are for the Hundred series and the second numbers are for the NAA series.

Here is a file I made some time ago on adjusting the lift on the NAA. Same for the Hundred except for the dimensions of the feeler gauge.First tighten the big spring that is on the outside that connects to the top link rocker untill you can no longer rotate the spring with the bare hand.
Next and this is important and you won't find it in any manual that I have ever seen.Inside on the other end of the big spring is a small rod connected by a fork and pin.It is about 1/2" in diameter and has an offset on the end that has the forked connector.This shaft gets bent quiet often just where it comes off the fork where it is pined to the big spring that is on the outside. This shaft has got to be straigt as an arrow it's full length. If it is bent it will be bowed down close to the rear end next to the forded offset.If it is bent it cab be straghtened by inserting the end of a bar of at least 2 feet long at the back end of the rod where makes the 70% turn and pry against the housing upwards to straighten the rod.By doing this the draft control linkage will be advanced toward the front of the tractor.This will enable you to now adjust the linkage as reccommended. Which is to raise the lift arms to the top of their travel and raise the control lever to about one inch from the top of the quadrant and with the proper thickness gauge (in the archives) adjust the 1/4" link that has the jam nut that is connected to the control valve to the gauge thickness at the point between the end of the control valve that has the land (knot) and the housing where the control valve comes out of the housing. a
To adjust the position control lower the lift arms to the lowest position and lower the control lever to the lowest position and with the other thickness gauge between the end of the control valve land on the end of the control valve and the housing adjust the control valve compenstating spring and rod.It has a jam nut that must be loosened in order to turn the adjusting rod.Their is a square on the end with a pin that prenents it from turning while adjusting and it must be held with a cresent or vice grips to prevent its turning while breaking the jam nut loose or you could break the retaining pin that keeps it from turning.after adjusting the position control retighten the jam nut while holding the square with either a cresent wrench or vice grip pliers.
If you will look around on the home page etc I think you can find the dimensions of the adjusting tools.The NAA is different than the later tractor modles.
