Hello,

I just received some older tools that are very solid and complete.

They have a lot of surface rust on them and I would like to clean them up.

SO far I have only tried WD-40 and a soft brush...it works but it's slow.

I just picked up some naval jelly and was going to try that...

Any other methods.

Thanks.

Sal

Go to Sears and get on of there cheap gravity feed sandblasters. I got one for less than $40.
I didn't think it would be much but I was really surprised. It is powerful enough to remove paint and rust easily. But it is small enough that it wont warp sheet metal. I really like mine. Takes hours of removing paint and rust down to minutes.
