for ZANE's LIVE THANG!!!!

It makes my PTO sing - it makes EVERYTHING "groovy" -- It makes my hydraulics sing!!!

Bring on Big Z --- I might take a special ride to AL just to pick mine up personally. :-)

LIVE THANG!

Is this used in conjunction with the Thang? I was wanting to get a thang, should I get one and then a live thang, or just wait for the Live Thang?

Live hydraulics sounds great, what the Live Zane Thang kit needs is a medallion to put somewhere on the hood to identify that it has one installed, like the "Ferguson System" plate on 9N's.
8N restoration purists should not object and it will help future tractor buyers know one was installed.

IMHO

If more name ideas are needed, refer to my earlier post - my favorite was Ziagra : your lift will go up anytime you want!

Ed, I am just messing around. Wow - what a perfect day it is outside. I don't care what it is called as long as I can drive over to AL and pick mine up. Heck --- what a revolutionary step in the 8N legacy.

It may have taken 50 years but Zane has proven that it is more than possible. I have seen SO MANY POSTS in the past few years scoffing that it just cannot happen, live hydraulics would never work, etc. It is good to see an inventor who saw through the doubts and the problems and found a solution.

I kid you not - People 50 years from now will be saying "Yeah I used to chat with ole' Zane on ytmag" and I bought one of them' very first ones that he had to sell! ---- :-)

Thanks, Zane.

Andy

I know what you mean Andy - I checked into the message board before I went to bed last night and saw Zane's message about live hydraulics and was very excited. I was also honored that Zane remembered the A.L.O.H.A. name I e-mailed him a couple weeks back.

And later, as I lay in bed waiting for sleep to arrive, I found myself thinking about how I was going to install my live hydraulics add-on....and then realized that I didn't know how to install it yet but by that time in my mind I had the tractor split, hood off, and lots of parts laying on the garage floor.

I guess I will just have to wait.
