To those of you who have restored your 8N. I stopped at a NH dealer. He had an 8N-1952 restored to show room quality. Beautiful paint job. It has a flat bar just in front of the rear axle for suitcase weights. Only $7500.00. Anyone interested??

They also have a Jubilee for sale, that is what I have, but I couldn't bring myself around to asking what the price is. It is pretty rough looking.FWIW

I was not posting this for any other reason than to let ya'll know what someone feels their tractor is worth. Being in a dealership, that price is just the asking price. Cash in hand will make the dealer think differently. It was definitely a nice tractor. It looked original as near as I could tell. Beautiful paint job. My personal feeling is that this price makes all of you who own tractors think a little more about the true value of yours. Prices are going up-- good news to those of you who own one and are planning to sell. To those of you who might be in the market for one you will have to take this into consideration when buying. FWIW

I've tried to post this several times but have had trouble. I live about 25 miles west of Charlotte. Sherrills Ford, zip 28673, On Lake Norman. Where are you located, Mike?

Didn't mean to give the impression that the 8N was over priced, but anytime you see a vehicle in a show room it generally is priced a little high. Cash in hand would bring the asking price down a little. I realize that restoration jobs involve a lot of cheap labor (yours) and you never get out all that you put into it. If'n I were in the market for a show quality tractor I would definitely look at this one. I posted this for us to better understand the value of N's. Higher restoration prices will cause the unrestored prices to rise also. Demand will make the prices go higher. This is a law of simple economics. I am not familiar about the priceing of N's, but those of you who have been following these prices over the past few years can say if the prices are increasing or not. If they are and you want a cheap N to restore it might be time to buy. Prices don't go down very often and I don't think they will with N's. FWIW

I restored a 52 8N last year to show room quality. I did all the work myself from rebuilding the engine, generator, starter, transmission, sandblasting, painting etc. Even mounted 4 new tires myself. At minimum wage alone, I probably have more than $7500.00 in it. Anyone who has ever restored one would probably agree.

It's worth whatever someone will pay for it.....My own father, who should know better, just paid $6000 for a 1953 8N. It's been completely rebuilt, top to bottom, came with a new mower, and it must be the most beautiful tractor I have ever seen, too pretty to dirty up by doing any work in my opinion. As for me, I'll just keep using my poor old '43 2N. Maybe he'll let me drive his 8N once in a while..... ..

Ford only made the 8N through 1952. The Jubilee was made in 1953!

The 8N was a 1952 model and the Jubilee was a 1953. I was speaking about two tractors.

Sounds a little on the HIGH side. It will be a safe bet that they wont move that one anytime soon.
