Got the new battery, put in the new regulator, changed the Hyd fluid (with the good stuff from NH dealer), fixed the fuel line, power washed it, drove it for a while. :-) With the batt term disconnected on the regulator I had over 7VDC at the A term. Looks like it's a chargin' to me. The lift works a lot better than it did before. Don't know if it's the fluid or the level of the fluid.

Also picked up a drawbar (new) at the tractor bone yard. It's not complete, need some parts but will fab them myself.

I am almost in business. Just need to get the tires / wheels swapped around. Put some Kroil on the wheel studs, they won't budge. Still need to put in the tune up parts.

Paul,

I found the DVM is fine and the battery polarity is backwards, but no one believes me. I felt like calling Agent Mulder. ;-) All is well now though, thanks to the manual, the many posts and archives I had printed and stuck in the manual, and the new componants.

Thanks everyone!!

Arne
