One of the last thing to do on my 8N was to swap the wheel spacing around and get the tires going the correct direction. We tried the impact wrench on the lug nuts to no avail yesterday, so we Kroiled 'em. Today I welded my made in Japan socket to a piece of pipe and welded that pipe to a cross piece and made a giant two person lug wrench. The lugs were coming off, or the studs were gonna break, one of the two. Well, the lugs came right off and we got the first wheel done no problem. Second wheel came right off but suddenly realized that tire was full of fluid!! Almost smashed us. That explains why when jacked from the center, only one tire would come off the ground. LOL!

If you don't have a impact wrench just use a good thick box end and hit it with a 3lb hamer, not to good on the wrench but cheaper than a compressor and impact wrench to break them loose with. Mark H.

When I get richer I will get me one someday, your right. My friend has them up to 1 inch drive but sometimes I can't get the part over there to use it. He is one I helped wire his home and he lets me borrow the tools I need in trade. Mark H.
