Rust Sealer?

Gents,
I repainted my '44 2N last fall, but didn't get the final touch-up done before I had to store her for the winter. I bought a new place in Nov, moved the tractor over here, and she sat outside for 2 months. LOTS of rust coated seams and bolt heads.

Any Idea what I can use to clean and seal them without sanding and wire brushing? I REALLY don't to mask and spray again, so I figgered I'd touch it up with small brushes, but I don't want the rust to come back thru.

Thanks!

Roger

From your description it sounds like the rust is developing under the paint. I feel that if you put something on it to neutralize it, it will probably stop the rust that is exposed but any rust under the paint will continue to rust through.

If you are not going to remove the existing rust, but you want to stop it, then you will need a product that neutralizes the existing rust, such as POR15.
