When were these available? On the Jubilee? Will they fit an 8N? They look like the hot setup to me. I am sure they would collect their share of dirt, but looks like a good place to put pins, couple of wrenches without filling up the space behind the dash, or having a box hanging on the fender.

Fired up the N the other day, did some more grading in the arena. I was going to put the tune up parts in it, but decided it doesn't need it. The thing runs great! :-) Ordered stays for the hitch. Was going to make them but decided the slots would be nice to have. Next step is to fit the JD no.5 mower to it.

Arne, sound like you're coming right along. That took box was on the 53 and 54 NAA's. Not sure if it continure on with the next series. It is true it did catch a lot of dirt and abuse from being below the running board. Guess that's why you don't seen too many of the orginals still around. Had to make a new one for my Jubilee, but seeing as I don't use that tractor all that much any more, it should last at least another 50 years.

Running board toolbox did not carry over to the Hundred series. Toolbox on the hundred series was a separate unit that bolted between the right running board and the rear axle. Walt's tractors has recently started offering reproduction boxes for the Hundred series. Don B may have them, too.
