Must have been a nice day around the PNW, I see Mark was out working on his new toy also. Hope the winds died down for ya some. By the time I got back from the other side of Spokane it was real nice here. Nice weather brings out the insulated carharts & the craftman tools. Now my tractor is missing her governor. That will cost me a full rebuild. The lever shaft is leaking a bit of oil there & was wondering if the dust seal the manual shows also prevents this leak? & how big a job it is to get the fork pin out to remove this lever shaft. Now for the front axel ?. I been wanting to put a grill on but with my front pump mount a grill wont fit. Also the pivot pin I get from FNH is a 1/4" to short. I have to have spacers to keep my rad. from riding on the axel which brings it up to high for the hood. The axel is, I'm sure 2N but what about the axel support? could this have come off another size tractor? Well I have rambled on long enough. Hope someone can shed some light on these big delemas I got going on in my corner of the wheatfield. Spent at least an hour in the archive this evening there are some names there I haven't seen on the board for qiite awhile. Thank God we have thier knowledge stored in the archives & Kim. Play safe.

Sounds like you have a loader installed. Ill bet you're front saddle is spread and twisted from the extra weight. Check it out.

Hi Rusty, I bought the pivot pin from Don for my 9n it was short as well, but it's the only one he carries. I installed it anyway with two bolts holding it, hopefully there won't be any problems. Not sure why your axle would interfere with the rad, could be wrong length axis arms (?) have been installed at some point or maybe the bolts that go through the axle are excessively worn. Hopefully this is of some help.

They died down about mid day and it got up to about 28 degs for awhile here. I had to plow the drive way for the bus run tomorrow. Had to wear my extream cold weather nomex flight suit to do it. By the time I was done the sun came out and the wind died down. My flight suit works good but I need a set of Carharts to blend in around here. The suit was free at the last military stand/down for the Vets around here. Get some good gear for free at them the Micky Mouse Air Filled Boots are the best thing I have found for my feet not much blood goes thru them in the winter! Mark H.

Ya I drive one for 2-5 mile trips a day. Get to keep it at the house. It is a country dirt road route just for the kids around me. I take them to another bus on the main road that way he dose not have to chain up to get them. Nice bennies for a 2 hour a day job! Pays good too. I don't have to take it to town unless I need fuel. I don't see any school officials till I drop it off or pick it up for the year. I get the pay check put strait in the bank! Gives me something to do in the morning till it warms up. Mark H.
