While in the garage this evening petting my put put I noticed that on the rear end of the generator that there is a slotted screw head sticking out. Off to one side and there are the words high and low. Can someone fill me in on this little gizmo.

That is exactly what it is....it will adjust the output of the generator. I turned mine down a touch because it would begin to boil the battery if it ran for more than a few minutes at a time....Happy Tractoring!!

if I remember correctly,that is a adjustable brush holder to adjust output on generator.Been a long time since I rebuilt one of them.fwiw Merle
