Anyone ever hear of Twindraulic loaders?

Have one for my 8N, but for years thought I must have the only one in the world, since no one I asked had ever heard of them. Then last weekend while visiting a friend's farm, I saw one sitting in his barn, identical to mine except for the front part that attaches to the front of the tractor. My friend said it had once been on his grandfather's 861.

Anyone know anything about Twindraulic loaders, when they were made, what tractors they'd fit on, etc.?

He spelled it with a "capital T" which I take to be a brand.

That's right, it's a brand name.

I've been around too long. Seems to me the Twindraulic loaders were made somewhere in northwest Iowa, back in the 1940s and 1950s, maybe even into the 60s. But I sure could be wrong about all of this. Seems to me they made loaders to fit all the popular brands like IH, JD, AC and Fords of course. Have some old farm magazines around, but didn't see their ad in the several 1954 issues I looked at just now. Mike-Iowa
