OT- What in the heck is going on? What the heck is wrong?

I am amazed, yet not. I come on here to post about a tractor show tommorrow (Sardis, TN, anyone going?), and find three threads attacking Dave#1, Dell, or someone. From what I can gather, Dave#1, Dell, Ty, Andy, and someone else (memory fails me here) have some sort of dispute. Now, normally, my response would be to have a usually pointless "cut the crap" attitude and tell everyone how to fix things.

However, as N experience has shown, you cant fix it if you dont know what's wrong, and frankly, I'm totally confused.

However, true to my...'me-ness', I am going to say something.

I've been visiting this forum since around Christmas. Is that a long time? Compared to most here, no, it's relatively short. However, in that time, I've made several posts. I've said several things I shouldnt have said, told certain people where they could go, and other things. However, each and every time I've been met with good natured ribbing, and a correction (and a good "yelling at", when I deserved it). Sure, there were some rude things said to me. Yes, people offended me. But I simply dealt with it. This forum is a place for people to gather...in peace. I personally feel that any and all personal disputes should be kept that- personal.

Now, again, I dont know what happened. And honestly, I dont care. However, I felt I should post. Do I expect to change any lives or attitudes with this? No. Do I expect to solve anything? It'd be nice, but I doubt I will. If anything, I'll probably just suceed in dragging something up that's been dropped and getting everyone mad at me...But that's life.

I dont know...anyone going to the Sardis show?

Rambling, (and probably getting myself in trouble),

68 Mag.

I also read the John Deere forum and I am really impressed with Clooney. No matter how many times he answers the same question he is always very polite and considerate. I have never seen him belittle anyone, nor fail to give a good answer, with the information he is supplied. Nor does he finish up with, "And I know how to do it right."

"Cut the crap" didn't do the job. This deal needs a cooling off period. How 'bout it Fellas? A couple of days, at least? Thanks in advance. (%^) DON TX

Where the heck is Sardis??? I was born and raised in Murfreesboro and can't place it. If it is close I might go. I want to do some more hoggin' tomorrow on second thought.

On the other subject;
Dell gives good advise, sometimes over and over time and again the same thing. I think he has the time and the inclination. Also he has wit, if a bit sharp at times. I learned long ago how you can say something face to face with inflection or a grin and the same thing is cold as ice in text.

I can't imagine that a little ribbing is going to hurt a grown man much. Although someone does seem a little STRESSED!

I like the way Dell answers his posts that Dell's way of doing it. After answering the same questions over and over again what do you do? He has helped a lot of us with our problems. He has never got rude to me and if he dose I probley asked a dumb question. Keep on posting Dell I look forward to them. Hey Dell how do you pull the Pinion gear out of a Jubilee it seems stuck and I don't want to hammer on it. I don't have a book to cover this model. It is unbolted but won't fall out? Thanks, Mark H.Mark H.
