Just replaced sleeves in my 9n. I placed the sleeves in freezer overnight to shrink them Put a propane heater under engine block suspended from hoist for an hour to warm it up. Pushed sleeve very quickly into bore by hand about 1/3 way down, then placed block of wood on top of sleeve and nocked it the rest of the way home by hammering on wood. All very quickly. Worked very well, no problem. Ron

Robert..... ...the sleeves are suppost to be an "interferance fit", which means sleeves are suppost to be bigger than the block hole.

Most take advantage of the amaizing physical propertys of metal to expand and contract with heat and use liquid nitrogen or dry ice to shrink the sleeve for a insulated hand fit..... .....respectfully, Dell

Who reminds you that there numerious "how-to's" in the "archives" at the top of this great N-Board, you might want to do some "brousing"
