Well, we did make the show. Not much there that I didnt recognize, but there was some stuff I had never seen.THE most interesting tractor was a 1952 8N with a Sherman High/ Low, and the Sherman steering wheel plate. It also had a V8 in it. I thought it was a Funk, but the owner informed me that it was done by...heck, the name escapes me now, but someone other than Funk, who he claimed was the original. I took several pictures of it, however, I have to finish my roll of film before I can scan and post them. This was the only N at the show when we were there. Next up on the list was a neat little Deere. It was home-made, and had full steel wheels, fenders, etc... It was a working scale model of one of the old Deere's. I wish I had more info, but I dont know too much about Deere equipment. I do, however, have a picture. A fellow also had a large collection of hit and miss engines. He had a few of them running, bolted to a trailer. This was the first time I had ever seen one in person, much less running. I was quite impressed. There was also a 1923 Ford model A with a 'pickup' conversion. I dont know anything at all about the conversion, but I do have a picture. The owner claimed it was driven daily. There was also an 'old Chevy'. it looked to be a 20's model, however, I dont know anything more about it. But, as usual, I have a picture. There was also an interesting tractor called a 'Leader'. I didnt see the owner, and dont have any information on it, but I do have...another picture. Well, until I get my film developed and our scanner working, that's all I have to post... Rambling, 68 Mag
