For some reason i don't have any ford colored tractors (yet), so this is the first time i've posted here.

I know some of you fellows have seen or used these. two angle rails, with a stand and a castered car. the front of tractor sits on one and the rear of tractor sits on the other. tractor can be seperated and connected safely and with little alignment problems? i'm collecting parts to build one. but as usual i need a picture or some ideas. If anyone can help, i would appreciate it. Thanks

Are you talking about spliting the tractor?

I have never heard of such a device, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

However I was very impressed with a device I saw here once; it was a bracket that was welded to a trailer screw jack with a castered wheel on it's base. The bracket was bolted to the side of the transmission housing and the castered wheel lowered so that it, along with the rear wheels, supported the back half of the tractor. Then it could be rolled out of the way, leaving the engine half blocked for rebuilding.

Stay safe!
