I need to check or add hydraulic oil since my lift arms on my 9n aren't lifting more than a few inches. Where do I add the oil or at least check it???

Thanks!

SOB..... ..some of the early 9N's used a fill to "this level" plug along side the tranny somewhere. .....or..... was it? remove the 6" roundel inspection plate on the side above the hydraulic pump? You can certainly fill thru that 6" hole and you'll be at the correct "level".

Later 9N's have a fill plug up by the tranny shifter/steering gearbox.

Remember, its 3 drains and 1 fill for all N's. and 5 Gals of Ford/New Holland recommended M2C-134D hydraulic fluid. Of course you can use the 60 yr old recommended 90wt Gear oil if you want to and can find it..... ....Dell
