I went down into the timber this morning to cut wood, and noticed that when the clutch pedal was just about all the way up, the left rear brake appeared to engage causing the tractor to pull slightly to the left. This pull to the left seemed to go away once the clutch was fully engaged. I don't remember a previous 9n doing this. Is this normal for a '41 9n, or do I need to do something? I don't want to take anything apart if I don't have to.

I am not sure exactly what you have going on there. By the book, the brake is to be adjusted first (needs to be pretty sensitive, i.e., full braking action with fairly short travel). Then, adjust clutch pedal rod so when pressing pedal, clutch disengages, then further travel on clutch pedal applies the left brake. It is a little tricky, but it can be done. Otherwise, you can't apply left brake while using clutch, unless you have an extra foot! Hope this helps.
