Hey everyone I found the problem. I had a faulty ignition switch. My manuals came in while I was on a business trip and I went out today and preformed the suggested trouble shooting in my owners manual and found the ignition switch was bad. In fact, that was the burning smell I had smelt when the tractor quit running last Saturday. I jumped the ignition switch wires and the ol girl coughed and with a little choke she fired right on up. I was able to drive her to the barn lot where I can more easily make the needed repairs. Thanks to all of you that offered suggestions. Once I replace the switch I'll get back to those black berry brambles.

Did you like, smile when she coughed, started, and you found the problem? Just curious. 9N'er
