Once again I get to play the fool. Speaking of getting stuck in the mud. I got my 8N stuck this weekend and I was flaming! I had just cut about 3 acres and was going to clear out around the perimeter and crossed a small natural creek/culvert for drainage. I had crossed it before bearly a foot wide and 6" deep - no problem. Got across no problem - THEN BLAM - hit a hidden stump with the front of my hog. BLAM GOING NOWHERE. Backed up and got the stump lodged under my clutch and something caused the right brake to come SLAMMING down on my #13s! Darn that hurt. As luck would have it I was jammed between the hog and the stump and finally mashed the stump down enough to move - the new ag tires laid right back into the weak bottom "culvert" - Don't know what happened but the right tire got stuck and wouldn't move. (by the time it was done - I had carved bout a 2' hole in the ground) Plus the tank wasn't completed full so the bulb wouldn't fill completely and the tractor wouldn't start anymore. (grin) Had to get my Chevy Ext V8/350 and it wouldn't budge anything. Got my 4WD 4Runner and it got stuck too - (tried pulling it from the front) --- 1st time I ever got that truck stuck anywhere. :-D As you could imagine, by this point I was beyond belief. No one was home nearby with their tractors etc. so I had to call a Big Wheel wrecker to come play Mr Recovery. At the tone of $125 to recover my hog, tractor & 4runner I guess I learned my lesson in stupidity. I don't know what else I could have done. Thought the ole' Ns would get stuck so easily. Hmmmmm... Any ideas, opinions, help, advice on getting stuck and getting out? Hope this was good for some laughs. Andy
