I'm looking for some inspirational pictures of bumpers for my '39. All pictures are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Here's a picture showing both an original and a modern replacement like those found at FNH and Farm & Country:

Farm and Country has new ones on sale for 45 bucks. I'm not quite sure what you are looking for, but at that price you can protect your front end until you find exactly what you want.

I don't know, but from what I'm told, the ORIGINAL has four horizantal bars and a towing hitch welded on the front. This is what Palmer Fossum's '39 9N has. It also has the aluminum hood and side panels. It looks to be almost 100% original. Anybody know for sure?

Here's a pic from the Nittany Tractor Show, this is what I understand to be the "original" 9N front bumper. Reputed to be a hard to find item.

That appears to be the front bumper and brackets from a 37-39 1 - 1 1/2 ton Ford Truck with the inside arm bent to the left and then back to the right. Unusual thing is that the bumper bar is chrome, trucks were painted black. If this is the original type bumper, it would not be hard to make a replica that would look very original.
