I recently acquired a 1951 8N tractor. I am starting to do some work on it and I have found that the radiator fan is pitched to blow air through the radiator instead of pulling air through it. All photos I have seen in the manuals appear to have fans which are pitched to pull air through the radiator. Any ideas? Which is correct?

If you are interested, I'll do an even swap puller for your pusher.

My 8N blows air through the radiator toward the engine. Keeps me warm in the winter but gets real dusty in the summer. Whatever your preference.

either is correct. The pusher fan is supposed to blow chaff and trash out. SOme guys like them because they blow the heat away from the operator, which is good in the summer, bad in the winter.
