I have a Ford Tractor serial nr. 9n *I88446*. Is this a 2n or one of the last 9n's? do the serial numbers overlap from the 9n's to the 2n's. Thanks for any help with this, I figure one of you "In the know folkes" can tell me.

9N and 2N serial numbers all start with 9N. The 9n serial numbers go up to about 99003 or so and the 2N's start from there. a 45 2N is about right. Good luck with your 2N

You cant depend on the serialno. for the model year.many engines have been replaced.Check the radius rods. The 9n had an I beam-the 2n is oval.
