Anyone know a site for parts for a McCulloch weedwacker? Specifically the 2816 and 2818 models. It seems that McCulloch is chapter 11.

Many thanks.

McCulloch is chapter 11.
I thought you said McCulloch is cheaper than 11 kids working for five cents an hour.(grin)

Sorry, my trimmer is an Echo. Cost $299.00 new. Hasn't been to a shop since I bought it in 95.

Popster: I just put my 2816 in the shop today.I pulled the crank cord out and when i put it back togather everything was binding.Took it back out redid it and got everything free but when I pulled the cord, it didnt recoil. After fooling with it about an hour or more i took it to the shop in 2 halfs. The man said it would be 2 weeks, because he was that far behind. Those are the most agravating things to work on.I also wanted him to adjust the carb etc. because it has always been cold natured.I hope I don't get a bill for $79 because that is what I paid for it.They may be less now.Good luck with your parts. Have a good weekend everyone...R.M. In AL.

Thanks for the help. I got carb kits.

Also went and bought a unit that I know I can continue to get parts for.

Again, many thanks.
