Been wicked busy outside spreading loam and putting in fencing. Then took the 4 year old to "Ice Age" at the local movie theater.

Leave a voice mail and I'll return the call. Busy week this week...but I'll call you.

In a nutshell...depends on condition.

I trailered my 850 to Mass. from northern NH to purchase a Sherman and have it installed. It was in ok condition. I have seen a lot worse!!

He sold it to me for 2200.00 installed and it inlcuded the entire under frame carriage mount that bolts to the trumpets and front of the tractor.

I restored mine, and it is really smooth with new bushings, rebuilt cylinder etc. etc. etc I expect to sell it for what I paid for it plus the repair work.

But I have to say, the one I currently have is nice and I wouldn't pay much more for it than 2200 to 2400. That's close to the high end. tom

They are heavy...wonder how an 8 or 9N can manage one of those...becareful.

Sherman Backhoe for you is probably $10,000. Tell me where it is at and I'll relieve you of your agony. :>) Just kidding. I sold one thirty years ago for $200. Wish I had it now. However it had set behind the barn for about 12 years and several cylinders were very rusted and hoses were all bad.
I had a line on one about 4 years ago and the guy wanted $1500. I never followed it up.
I guess I really don't know the answer because I'm can't see it, and my needs (called wants) aren't that strong right now.

I was operating mine when the guy came up and made an offer I couldn't refuse for the 820, Wagner loader and Sherman 10' hoe. The hoe had been recently re-bushed, mostly new hoses, the cylinders rebuilt, and the tractor had new tires and paint. That was in 1968, and the rig was 13 years old. He offered $1200 and I took it. Times are a-changing!

Well, I did have a better and bigger machine too.

In the same condition, maybe even 5 times. I suppose the bare tractor would be worth 3 times what I sold the package for.

Remember, those early TLB's were just experimental. The first really good one was the 555.
