I came home from work, mowed and fertilized the lawn, repaired a sprinkler head and then headed out to the N fleet. Fired up the '48 and smoothed the drive way and took care of some humps and low spots left from snowblading. Then put the blade in the row of equipment and hooked up the dirt scoop and filled in some holes where my bird dogs have been digging out of their pen. Then fired up the '50 and leveled up the place that I drug the dirt out of. The poor old '49 is still suffering the effects of BGitis. I am still restoring it. I think if I get a '51 and '52 the child bride will throw me out! Anyone know of any close by and cheap?

The photo doesn't do it justice. No radiator, gas cap missing since who knows when (gas tank probably full of dirt and spiders), rear wheels completely rotted through (tire sidwalls, too). On the bright side, the engine still turned and it had some useable parts. I was willing to go $250 for it as an ebay project.

There maybe a '52 in Grifton, NC that a guy might want to part with. Semi-restored condition. :-)

Can you send me your wife's sister? LOL!
Thanks,
Tyman

well the '50 is hers, it is next in line for an overhaul. come on out and help old buddy. I figure on the present the time line, I will retire about the time I get done. The sister is still young, single and good looking. I HAVE to go over and help her get her hot tub filled and treated, gosh this is a hard life out here. Of course I will have to test the water too. There is never enough time to work on my tractor with all of these interuptions.

Mine is a hard lot in life, but I have come to accept my burdens without too much whining.

Funny I had the same idea! I got tired of digging holes lately so today warmed up the Ferguson and did some grading. Man that was fun compaired to digging holes!!! Tore up a bad spot in the lawn that had some nice craters in it, also flaten some big lumps. The wife was real happy to see me working real hard late into the day! I just don't know what I would do with out a tractor of my own anymore. I can go out anytime and tear up the place then smooth it all up again. The practice I got with the snow this winter paid off, using the rear blade is so much easier now! Mark H.
