I have a new Paulson which I am happy with. It's small but the N can't handle anything too big anyway. It's biggest advantage is that it doesn't block acces to the seat or to the engine parts the way some other loaders do. Only drawback is that it is a trip bucket altho I'm sure a hyd. cylinder could be added to the bucket.

Reno, I've had the dear born loader like the one barnstormer was talking about. And I've had freeman and also a 701 ford loader. It just depends on what you intend to do with them, I don't think any one better than the rest. I thought of taken a dear born loader and cutting the left angle brace out of it,then replacing it at the bottom with plating to make it a step threw. Haven't got to try it yet so I don't know if I can do it without severly weakening the frame. A 701 ford is a step threw loader that will fit from a 9n to a 2000. How ever I should point out to if you put a loader on your 2n you are deffiantly going to learn the meaning of arm strong steering exspeially if you still have the 19 inch tires. It's also hard on steering sectors. But a lot of people do it including myself. John

There is a Wagner step-through style frame out there but I don't know if it fits the 8/9N. I haven't made that a priority as long as I can still get the "caboose" over the side on my current Wagner loader. ;>)

My FEL experiences are with Dearborns and Wagners.
Both have worked very well. They can be a little awkward to get on and off the tractor, having to climb over the cylinder on the side or up the back of the tractor.
I currently have a Wagner and am finding it harder and harder to climb over it. It has nothing to do with my age, it is that someone keeps jacking up the tractor and the first step is higher. :>)
I'm sure that there other makes of loaders but I am not familiar with them. I looked at a Wagner today on the way home from the swap meet that I went to. It was missing some parts and had been modified to fit a 600.
