I have 2n tractor that I just rebuilt and instaled a 12 volt electical system. I have been using it for several weeks now and yesterday the battery died. Do I need to polerize the alternator or something like that? If the battery died could this cause the tractor to shut off? if you have any help at all please email me. Thanks for any information!

If'n all you have for symptoms is "the battery died" I would humbly suggest you take it to an electrical professional. Whatever you do DON"T polarize the alternator--kills it every time.

Your mileage may vary
