I need some help identifying my tractor.
The front of the grill emblem says Ford Furguson system. The serial is poor but says ? KT60 ?
The axel serial number is 2n4015a2 Any suggestions!?

Ford, with the Ferguson system of hydraulics for the 3 point hitch.
As the guys said, the block has a serial number on it. As you sit on the tractor, on your left side, there is a flat section on the block itself that has the serial. About 1" x 3" as I recall. It is near the oil filter. When you find it,,,maybe under grease or paint,,, check back on this site, and look over to the left side of the page. Look for "serial numbers", and you can find out what year you have. 9N's and 2N's have the serial start with *9XXX... so you have to check the list to be sure. Bob in NY

You may want to look on the leftside of the motor, where the head bolt's to the block. There should be a flat peice of steel with a star or diamond shape then 9N followed by a series of number's then followed up with another symbol like the one at the begining of your number. If memory serve's me correctly the symbol's represent what type of piston sleeve's you had in that engine.HTH,Jay 2NSC

Sounds like a 2N. The seriel number should be 9N followed by up to 6 digits, depending on the year of manufacture. You need to clean the pad off better to get a good reading. Often the ones are the letter I, 6 might be a letter b and 9 an upside down b.
