The plugs are sparking on the front mount 8n now. Big beautiful sparks that should crank her. Thanks for all the help. She still will not run though. vapor skeets out the right side of the carb and the carb drips gas.

Rusty,

Turn the gas off and squirt starting fluid in the carb. With good sparks, it should start briefly.

If not, try pulling the spark plugs and use a propane torch to heat the electrode end. Then put them back in and try starting fluid again.

I have seen cases where the engine gets flooded and the plug get wet and won't spark.

As someone said in an earlier post: you need gas, air, and spark at the right time and it should run. The other thing you need is compression. Have you checked the compression? The engine has just been rebuilt, right?

Seems to be a lot of sticking float disease going around this spring. Check the posts above since you two seem to have the same issues.
