Lately when I run my 8N with the three point hitch at the highest point it doesn't want to drop back down. I'll turn off the tractor and wait for the lord of gravity to finally let it drop after 5 or 10 minutes. I recently found that if it does not lower, I can turn on the draft control, shut off the tractor and then turn off the dract control, which causes it to drop like a lead balloon. What parts do I need to correct this problem. thanking you in advance.

Robbman-

First check for water in your hyd by removing the 6" cover on right hand side. Water easily gets inside by leaking around the rubber boot at bottom of your shifter and by condensation. If water, drain and refill with Ford 134D.

If no water, culprit could be the relief valve (like $6 new) or gunk in your pump causing the outlet piston to stick.
