There is a 801 series in the paper. I am wondering what the HP rating of the 172 engine? I don't know the model.

Thanks,

Arne

Called on the 801 series. Comes with a blade and 5' hog. About $3K. Found out is a Select O Speed. From what I can gather that'd make it a 871 / 881? Is that right? Either way I'll pass. My partner and I are buying some land for our fab shop and want to raise some hay too (15 - 20 acres). We need one that is up to some significant work and I won't gamble on a SOS. We'll keep looking.

Thanks for all the info guys. Ed, I just love those spec sheets you post.

Arne

Think some later models with options tested higher but this is what they archive for an 801

Your mileage may vary

172 cubic inch Red Tiger OHV engine I believe is in the upper 40's for HP. I have a NAA with the 134ci, that's around 31 hp
