I now have the 621 running quite well. I've shredded quite a bit with it and tried bladding with it on Thursday. when trying to move some of the brush and cactus I've shredded , the blade doed not scrape too well. It tends to lift when something is hard to move close to the ground. I did have it in position control. What should I be doing to scrape the ground to "bare" earth? Thanks albe

Thanks for all the help. I don't have an old crank lying about but I have other weight. I can also tip the blade with the top link. I'll try this week-end

Hi Albert. I had an ole truck crankshaft laying around and strapped it to the top of my 6' blade. Doesn't look too pretty, but the blade didn't either.....grin. The extra weight helps it get a better "bite".

Hope this helps..... ..... Ed

If you are using a rear blade you can shorten the top link and tip the blade. This may help.

The Ford tractor has no down pressure. If you want it to have more force against the ground you will have to weight it down with something.

Even is position control it is supposed to go up with the terrain. If it didn't you would not be able to use the tractor for blading because the rear wheels would be off the ground half of the time. IH did build a few modles with down pressure and they were not sucessful at all.
