Does any one have any idea if it is possible to put live hydralics on a 2n. If it is possible does any one know how and about how much it would cost. I need the live hydralics! If anyone has anything to say on this subject please let me know. Thanks for any information.

Zane Sherman has already figured it out for you. Cost is $375 (I think). Zane is a highly respected (almost worshipped) contributor to this board.

If you have a 2N you'll also want to get Zane's position control device at the same time. Put "Zane Thang" in the search box and start reading dozens (maybe hundreds) of testimonials. I think the Zane Thang cost is around $80.

Both those items together may sound expensive, but you'll have what will feel like a whole new tractor for a lot less than it will cost you to buy another tractor with those features.

Andrew, Look around in the link below. I have installed the Live Thang on my 8N and it works great.

You like the Live Thang I take it. How hard was it to install? How long did it take you?

Thanks for any info

Ron

Punch in live thang on the search above. 264 hits. Maybe more than you wanted to know.

Andrew, I haven't heard of anyone doing this, but I don't think it would be that hard. All you would need is some sort of frame to hold a front pump and resivor and pipe it back to the seat and hook in a control valve. It would work on the same bases as a front pump loader. Just an idea. John
