Just one more question about these contraptions. What do most of you use to get the blades off a bush hog? These seem to be well rusted. I've sprayed them with PB Blaster, and tried a socket with about an 18" handle on it (for leverage).

Do most of you use a "cheater" of some sort, or is more patience needed for the PB Blaster to do its work?

By the way, I don't have access to an air hammer or anything like that.

Thanks.

I used a 3' pipe wrench on the round big end and a 3/4" breaker bar with a 3' pipe for the nut. I soaked the nuts and bolts with Kroil for 48 hours before attempting. First one came off with lots of grunting, second one did not. Had to resort to the hot wrench to cut off the nut. Screwed up the bolt too so had to buy a replacement. I have a 3/4" impact but it would not budge it. Maybe I didn't have enough air.

I use a 3/4 breaking handle with a big socket, short extension, and have a 2 1/2 foot pipe I can slide over the end of the handle if it is really tough.
