I made up my mind that we need a newer tractor with a front end loader, and power steering. When I decided that, I thought I might sell the 8N when I find what I want. When I called the local dealer, he hold me what was available, and what he knew of in the area. As we talked, he asked me if I wanted to trade or sell the 8N? Without thinking I replied He-- No! I ain't sellin my N!!!
I immediately thought why did I say that? and My wife said I knew you couldn't do it. What is it that makes me want to keep a machine that we have had since 1960, but I would give you my brother that I have had since 1953????
The government ought to look into this addiction!!
(grin)

Hi I believe you have one great investment in the 8NB. Just wonder what the 2002 fords/ih/green weenies ect will be selling for in 2057 :) If you don't need the $$ for a new tractor I recommend keeping the 8N. Maybe invest in another 8N look at the stock market:( jmo

Ron,
It is an addiction, and I hope I never recover. Keep the 8N AND get the new tractor.
I was trying to think of a name for my 2N. I was thinking of Patty, and then naming the next 2 tractors Laverne and Maxine (my dream is to have 1 each 9N, 2N and 8N). My wife thinks I'm nuts. Maybe I am.
