A set of spacers for the rear wheels are listed on e-bay. It sets the wheels out an additional 4 inches. My question is, can the axle bearing take this added load?

Thanks

Ron

If you check out the manual you can reverse the rear wheels and get 72" spacing so I do not beleive 4" would make a differance.

Actually these are for the power adjust wheels. They look like they would work as spacers or for dual wheel adapters....although the factory dual wheel adapters are different..Big Mike

Hi Big Mike: You are right about the factory adapters for N's. Here is a scan from an accessories catalog for N's:

Looking at it you are probably correct. Item # is 1736688130. They are at 20 bucks right now.

I wouldn't think this would add any load to the axle bearings. It would add extra stress to the axle itself because of the leverage of the wheels being set out more but they are built to take it.
