We store a ton or two of hay outside each year, to use as mulch on the garden plants. Yesterday while loading some on the wagon, I heard a buzzing noise, while lifting a fork full of the very wet heavy hay, I opened up a bee's nest. After I waited a reasonable time, I went out and started the 8n and shoved it in gear and hopped off. When the N started in a long slow turn instead of going straight, I had to move in and turn the wheel, at which time I promptly got my left foot run over by the left rear tire. No serious damage, but it darn sure makes you think about tractor safety.... Just the ramblings of an old fool, but something to think about. Ron

OH, RUSTY,,, Let me explain that that is the way that an old, fat, boy is able to get the tractor moving slow, while he runs as fast as he can from the bee's. Much the way that we do when we pick rocks from a field. The tractor is set in gear, and the guy picking that is nearest keeps bumping the wheel to keep it straight. The difference is that when you are picking rocks, there are no darned bees chasing you!!!!
Alergic to bee stings and pain,
Ron
