As for me? three 1.75 pound boiled Maine lobstahs' boiled corn on the cob, Tuckeram Pale Ale, and two raspberry truffle, double chocalate cream cakes.

I usually start with desert first. How about you'all?

Steak and baked potato (plural on both of them).

Breakfast in bed started the day. 4 year old son and 3 year old daugter served Honeycombs (no milk) and glass of Coke. 1 year old daughter simply tried to crush the cereal into the sheets. I love it.

Burgers, cooked in a thunderstorm (fortunately the grill has a cover) with slightly damp rolls, baked beans, potato salad, rhubarb pie made from my sister-in-law's home grown rhubarb, ice box cake, homemeade choc. chip cookies, brownies (notice the emphasis on desserts here).

Had both my sons up to the house, and they brought both my granddaughters up with them. That was the best part. For dinner, Lisa made her famous slow-cooked baby-back ribs..... the kind where the meat falls off the bone as you serve them on your plate. Also had her equally famous twice-baked potatoes, and a zucchini & yellow squash sauteed medley (the squash was picked from our garden yesterday morning). Iced tea or Sam Adams with dinner, cigars and 3-fingers of Booker's single barrel bourbon after dinner. Just don't get no bettah than that!!

Hope y'all had a great Father's Day, too..... ..Ed

We had Grilled chicken breasts marinated in white sauce, grilled corn in the shuck, baked potatoes, steamed brocolli, strawberry short cake, and good old iced tea.

The best part was I had my sons and their significant others to help eat it.

No kids so it was just leftovers for me today. I usually get something from the two cats but the missus is hard at it doing proposals for tomorrows work so I guess she forgot the usual Cat gifts.

I'd a been happy to trade places with Salmomeye today. Sounds like he made out real good.

My 10 yearold son worked 2 evenings this week so he could take me out to chinese dinner. I may be biased but he's a great son. God couldn't have done me any better.

Started this morning with serious coffee intake.

After spending the morning with the inlaws chewing the fat and catching up on the news from Addison County, we headed to my Sisters' place back in our home town.

Our Dinner was fat grilled pork ribs, potato salad, 2 different macaroni/pasta salads, burgers, dogs, green salad, last years pickled beets, 4 kinds of last years cucumber pickles, 2 different baked cakes, and an ice cream cake, (today was also my Fathers' oldest Brothers' birthday).

After relaxing in the rain for the rest of the afternoon, and after the Girl went to bed a bit ago...

Supper was 2 Wild Turkeys with a Molson...

;-)

Ham and cheese sandwich , spaghetti from a can and a pop tart ! The wife had a school meeting out of town so my boy ( 6 ) and I are on our own tonight . It has been great fun ! We did "guy stuff" down in the country . We watered the garden , put up a scarecrow walked down to the river and looked at the deer tracks . He is after all the reason that I get to celebrate Father's Day !

Happy Father's Day to all of you !

By the way , my boy had his Mom order me a Zane Thang for my Fergie 30 ! It was his idea all by himself !It should be here early next week . What a great family !

After my daughter wished me a happy father's day, I played a round of golf with some buddys. A couple of cold beverages consumed on the links as well. It don't get better that this. :-)

Ma baked a possum and we had poke salad greens with wild onions and bacon drippins. Drank a couple of half gallons of home brew (don't get to close today)
