Beneath the spreading maple tree,
the mighty Ford N stands,
and the muscle of its L-head engine
feels powerful in my hands.
With sheet metal gray and body of red,
it glimmers like the finest gold.
The sight of an all green tractor,
makes me shiver and feeling cold. The three point hitch is a marvel,
the genius of a single man.
Its flawless operation is the reason,
of why I am such a fan. Over fifty and still running,
this baby just won't quit.
Try to sell me a JD or Farmall,
and I am apt to throw a fit. For me there is one tractor,
and that is the mighty Ford.
Just give me the N and some time,
